SEWELL, N.J. - The Harford men's tennis team took the court for the first time in 2021, defeating the Rowan College of South Jersey - Gloucester Roadrunners, 7-2.
The Fighting Owls begin the season 1-0 with the win.
How It Happened
Harford breezed through their meeting with the RCSJ, dropping just two games in the seven matches they won. Rowan was able to steal No. 3 doubles and No. 6 singles to avoid a sweep.
Newcomer
Adrien Guibert teamed with 2020 ITA All-American
Harry Collins to win their No. 1 doubles match, 8-1. Both men also took their singles matches in straight sets.
Pablo Lopez Real and
Jocep Coll Llopis won their No. 2 doubles match (8-0) as well as No. 3 and 4 singles matches (6-0, 6-0) without dropping a point.
Mathius Dessureau also joined in the winning with a perfect 6-0, 6-0 at No. 5 singles.
