KEYSER, W.V. – No. 2 Harford left no doubt about the result on Saturday, blasting the Potomac State Catmounts on the road, 32-1.
The Fighting Owls got off to a blistering start, scoring 14 goals in the opening 15 minutes. Eight goals in the second quarter compared to the Catamounts one put Harford ahead 22-1 at the break.
Not much changed in the final two quarters, as Harford shut out their Region 20 foe while rocketing through 10 goals of their own.
13 different Fighting Owls scored on the afternoon.
Pete Behrens and
Cayden Onagi led all players with six goals, followed by
Ben Ferrell (five),
Nate Surd (three) and
Taz DeLaney (three).
Zach Sheppard dominated the faceoff circle for Harford, winning 24-of-25 chances while also scoring a goal.
The Fighting Owls are now 3-0 with the win, while Potomac State falls to 2-2.
