PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – Harford men's tennis returned to action for the first time in almost a month, falling 7-0 to the Saint Joseph's University Hawks.
The Fighting Owls dip to 1-1 on the season after the defeat.
How It Happened
Harford grabbed a win in No. 2 doubles thanks to a straight set win from Jocep Coll Llopis and
Mathius Dessureau. However, the Hawks took both No. 1 and 3 doubles to gain the point.
Dessureau gave Saint Joe's the biggest fight of the day in No. 5 singles. The freshman ripped away set one before dropping the second and heading into the tiebreaker. Dessureau fought hard, but ultimately fell short in the end (6-4, 1-6, 10-8).
The Hawks took the rest of the singles matchups in straight sets.
