BEL AIR, Md. - The Fighting Owls dropped its opening match to Richard Bland (RBC), but rebounded with a straight set triumph over Delaware Tech to cap off Friday's tri-match inside the APGFCU Arena.
Harford sits at 3-1 on the year after today's split.

The Statesman and Harford started off the day, but it was RBC who took all three sets to grab the win.
The Fighting Owls came up just short (25-21, 25-22) in the first two sets before RBC dominated the final to earn a sweep.
Benedetta Canfora recorded 17 digs in the loss, while
Martina Croce tallied 15 assists. Freshman
Katie Keech led the offense with nine kills.
Harford 3 - Delaware Tech 0 (BOX SCORE)
Harford rebounded in the night cap, utilizing 26 errors from Delaware Tech and 24 kills from its offense to cruise into Saturday with a win.
A spirited rally from Del Tech brought the score to 14-13 in set one, but Harford held on and closed out the match by taking five of the final six points for the win. The two teams went back and forth early on in set two, but it was the women in blue who pulled away midway through the set to take a 2-0 lead.
As a raucous crowd cheered them on, the Fighting Owls put away Del Tech in set three with ease to pick up their first home win in nearly two years due to COVID-19.
Katie Keech led Harford once again with eight kills, while
Alex Leslie chipped in a half-dozen kills and four aces.
Martina Croce picked up 19 assists and three aces.
