BALTIMORE - The Maryland Junior College Athletic Conference (Maryland Juco) announced its All-MD JUCO Women's Softball Teams earlier this month and three Fighting Owls - Kayla Gist, Noelle Beavers and Ava Wimer - earned spots on the list that includes 34 players from 10 schools. 

Gist earned a place on the first team and rightfully so. The sophomore from Hanover Township, Pennsylvania, hit eight home runs, collected six doubles and 32 RBIs and slashed .431/.494/.847 with an OPS of 1.341, all despite missing five games due to an injury. She struck out just four times in 78 plate appearances, while drawing seven walks. Gist leaves Harford with her name on multiple spots in the school's record books, including second most career RBIs (76), tied for third in single-season (2026, 8) and career homers (15), tied fourth in single-season doubles (2025, 14) and tied for seventh with 20 career doubles. 

Beavers had an incredible freshman season and was rewarded with a second team selection. She slashed .494/.640/.690 with an OPS of 1.330, hit two homers and drove in 33 runs. Playing in all 28 of the Fighting Owls' games, Beavers played multiple positions this season, committing just six errors in 132 chances to finish with a .955 fielding percentage.

Wimer earned honorable mention, but her contributions this season to the Fighting Owls were worth so much more. She solidified the lead off spot in the lineup, batting .500 and finishing with a .585 on-base percentage, often setting the table for big Harford innings. The speedster also swiped 20 bases and was caught just once and committed just two errors in 59 chances while patrolling center field.
