BALTIMORE - The Harford lacrosse team (6-5) dropped a road conference match to Catonsville (2-6, 1-2) on Wednesday, 12-9. The loss is the fourth-straight for the Fighting Owls.
Freshman
Jacob Duarte netted three goals and an assist in the loss. The hat trick gives Duarte a team-leading 17 goals on the season, passing sophomores
Ben Wilson (16) and
Matt Vickers (15). Wilson was held scoreless for the first time this season, while Vickers added an assist for Harford.
Sonny Botterill scored twice and added a helper.
Jake Crenshaw,
Baron Springfield,
Andrew Houck and
Jake Hancock also scored goals for Harford in the loss.
Timothy Kemena made 11 saves, taking the loss in net.
The Fighting Owls return to Harford Stadium for their first home game in nearly a month when they face Northern Virginia on Saturday at noon.
