No. 7 Men's Lacrosse Takes Down No. 9 Anne Arundel, 20-8

BEL AIR, Md. - The No. 7 Harford men's lacrosse team (10-3) won its sixth straight-game in convincing fashion against conference rival and No 9 Anne Arundel on Friday, 20-8. The Fighting Owls scored the first eight goals of the game in the win.

The Fighting Owls opened the game with tons of energy and just as many scoring chances. Jason Terry got the team on the board two minutes in and Ricky DeMicco connected moments later. DeMicco finished the opening period with three goals and an assist and Terry had a pair of tallies.

Tom Yancheski was also up to the task, stopping a career-best 24 shots in the win. He held the Pioneers off the scoreboard until the opening seconds of the second quarter and he made 13 saves in the first half.

DeMicco finished with six goals and two helpers, while Terry added five goals. Dominic Mezzanotte chipped in with four assists.

The Fighting Owls host No. 3 CCBC Essex on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
