BEL AIR, Md. - The Harford men's lacrosse team (1-0) earned an impressive 27-8 victory over Delaware Tech in its season opener on Sunday. The Fighting Owls were so happy to be at Harford Stadium for a game, and not to shovel snow, that they jumped out to a 14-0 lead and never looked back.

Justin Gosnell led the charge, scoring seven goals and adding four assists, while Julian Jackson netted six goals in his Harford debut. Dominic Mezzanotte chipped in with five goals.

Ryan Wall and Jake Woodhouse each had a four-point afternoon. Wall had three goals and an assist while Woodhouse had a pair of each.

The Fighting Owls host Union on Saturday at 1 p.m.
