Box Score BEL AIR, Md. - The Harford men's lacrosse team (1-3) earned its first win of the 2015 season, knocking off Cecil, 12-3. The victory was the first career win for interim head coach
Aaron Verardi.
Mike Cooke led the way offensively, scoring five times, while
Owen Winstead and
Jeremy Scranton scored twice. Harford jumped out to a 4-1 lead after the first quarter and scotred four times in the final period to pull away with the easy win.
Ethan White earned the win, allwing one goal and making two saves.
Mark Wollenweber made four saves in relief.
The Fighting Owls travel to Del Tech on Sunday at noon.
