DOVER, Del. - The Harford men's lacrosse team (1-4) dropped an 8-7 decision at Delaware Tech on Sunday. The Fighting Owls held a 7-4 lead but an injury to starting goalie Ethan White opened the door for a comeback for Del Tech.

The Fighting Owl defense played tremendously through the first 57 minutes, but when White went down with an injury in a 7-5 game, things fell apart for Harford. White made 15 saves and allowed just five goals before leaving the field.

Mike Cooke had three goals and Nick Mashin had a pair of tallies and an assist. Freshman Jeremy Scranton dished out a team-high three helpers.

The Fighting Owls travel to Suffolk on Wednesday at 4 p.m.
