CUMBERLAND, Md. - With two weeks to go before the MD JUCO Tournament, the Harford golf team finished third for the fourth time this season, this week at the Allegany Tournament. The Fighting Owls were just six strokes off the lead, however, a season-best.

Harford's four-man score of 332 was behind Hagerstown's 326 and Southern Maryland's 330 and ahead of Allegany's 336 and Anne Arundel's 344. Harford's Mike Filler tied for second place with a 78, four-strokes off the leader.

Ricky Scheeler finished with an 80 and Eric Spalt carded an 83 for the Fighting Owls. Travis Greenwood came in at 91 and Jacob Labe scored a 96.
