ALEXANDRIA, Va. - The Harford men's lacrosse team earned the No. 5 seed in the 2015 NJCAA Region XX Championships and will travel to No. 4 Northern Virginia on Tuesday for an opening round contest at 3:30 p.m.

The Fighting Owls will host the Semifinal and Final Rounds of the tournament for the first time since 2010, but will need to avenge a double-overtime, season-opening loss to NOVA to do so. Back in March, the Fighting Owls blew three four-goal leads in the final quarter and eventually lost 17-16 in 2OT.

Mike Cooke leads the team with 33 goals, while Pete Vasilas has totaled 29 markers. Jeremy Scranton and Andrew Lebrun are tied for second on the team with 34 points.

The winner of the contest will face No. 1 CCBC Essex on Thursday at 4:30 p.m. at Harford Stadium. Fans can follow along with Tuesday's game by clicking this link for live stats.
