HERNDON, Va. - The Harford men's lacrosse team ended its 2015 season in the Region XX Openeing Round on Tuesday with a 22-14 loss at Northern Virginia.

The Fighting Owls took a 10-8 lead with five consecutive goals in the third period, but then stumbled, allowing 12 of the final 14 goals in the defeat. Four different Fighting Owls scored in that five-goal stretch, as Mike Cooke started it and ended it, but the fourth quarter belonged to NOVA.

Jeremy Scranton led the Fighting Owls with four goals and an assist while Cooke chipped in with three and one. Pete Vasilas scored a pair of goals and Lorenzo DiPasquale scored once and assistsed on two.

Ethan White finished his freshman campaign making 14 saves in the loss.
