Bel Air, Md. - The Harford men's lacrosse team saw a pair of their student-athletes earn national honors as
Kyle Barkley and
Nick Esser were named to the NJCAA All-American second team.
Esser, a sophomore transfer, finished the season fifth in the country with 40 assists as the attackman also tied for ninth in total points with 69.
Barkley, a freshman two-way midfielder, scored 34 goals on the year along with 10 assists and 32 ground balls. He made his way into Fighting Owl lore when he scored three goals in the last three minutes of the game, the last of which with no time remaining, to upset #3 ranked Nassau for the first time in program history.
