Harford Announces Spring '20 AD Honor Roll

BEL AIR, Md. – Harford Athletic Director Estevan Vasquez has announced that 67 student-athletes have earned a spot on the Athletic Director (AD) Honor Roll, with 20 Fighting Owls securing a 4.0 GPA for the spring 2020 semester.

To earn a spot on the AD Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.0 grade-point average while taking at least 12 credits.

Fighting Owl student-athletes currently hold a 3.16 overall GPA for the spring. Both this number, and the number of student-athletes who made the list, is subject to change due to COVID-19 extending the semester.

The current record for number of student-athletes making the AD Honor Roll was set in the fall of 2017 (92), while a new GPA record of 2.84 was set in spring 2018.

20 Fighting Owls maintained a perfect grade point average during the spring: Ciara Bartz (WSOC), Lexi Buchanan (SB), Jackson Cesark (MTEN), Nick Collier (BASE), Tsahai Corbie (WBB), Caden Cote (MLAX),  Jamison Covey (BASE), Collin Davies (MSOC), Faith Hill (VB), Paige Iacaruso (WXC), Camila Lopez (WTEN), Paula Martinez (WTEN), Eliza Melia (WLAX), Jamie Moyer (WSOC), Dominic Muscella (MLAX) Caleb Musco (BASE), Mason Mullaney (MSOC/MBB), Finlay Rowan (MTEN), Ajay Sczepkowski (BASE), Jonathan Warfield (MSOC),

10 Harford student-athletes earned their fourth appearance on list. Six additional Fighting Owls appear for a third time, 21 for a second, and 29 made the cut for the first.

Team Comparison
Harford baseball led all male teams with four student-athletes earning a 4.0 in the spring. It also tied men's lacrosse with 11 members of each roster earning a spot on the AD Honor Roll. Men's soccer held the highest team GPA with a 3.08, with cross country (3.02) following closely behind in second.

Fighting Owls women's tennis led all female teams with three 4.0's and a department leading 3.27 team GPA. Harford volleyball appeared the most times on the honor roll (six), with women's tennis (five), women's lacrosse (five) and softball (five) right behind them.
