CHARLOTTE, N.C. - 22 Harford student-athletes have been named to the 2022 NJCAA All-Academic Teams, as announced by the national office on Monday.

A student-athlete can earn national academic honors by reaching a 3.60 GPA or higher for the 2021-22 academic year. The NJCAA All-Academic list consists of three teams: First Team (4.00 GPA), Second Team (3.80 to 3.99 GPA), and Third Team (3.60 to 3.79 GPA). In total, 9,912 student-athletes garnered All-Academic recognition this year. 

20 Fighting Owls made the cut for the first time, while a pair of student-athletes make the list for a second consecutive year.

First Team
Jada Bright (Women's Baskteball), Mackenzie Burton (Softball), Philipp Gall (Men's Soccer), Bradley Hall (Basketball), Lily Holtschneider (Women's Tennis), and Lauren Puntanen (Women's Soccer)

Second Team
Jordan Bright (Men's Basketball), Martina Croce (Volleyball), Tommy Crocetti (Men's Lacrosse), Casey DiVenti (Women's Lacrosse), Emanuele Moretti (Men's Soccer), and Lily Tsomos (Women's Tennis)

Third Team
Ronin Bangs (2x, Men's Soccer), Jess Bouthet (Softball), Becky Brittell (Women's Soccer), Natalia Calvo-Herrera (2x, Women's Tennis), Benedetta Canfora (Volleyball), Katie Keech (Volleyball), Karissa Kozlowski (Volleyball), Brooke Naugle (Volleyball), Jack Owen (Men's Lacrosse), and Angel Santana (Men's Soccer)

In addition to the individual awards, Harford women's tennis finished in eighth place nationally with a 3.57 team GPA.
