HCC's only two-time All-American gaining honors in both softball and field hockey, Carol acheived first team honors for softball in 1979 leading the Owls to a national tournament appearance as the squad's smooth fielding shortstop and offensive sparkplug.

A graduate of Aberdeen High School, she was named to the first-team field hockey squad in 1980 leading the Owls in scoring and into another national tournament appearance.
