Harford Athletics Hall of Fame
A pioneer in the developing of HCC's intercollegiate athletic program, John captained the 1965 and '66 football squads, excelling as a two-way performer and leading the Owls with his tenacious, aggressive style. He also starred as a leader of the Owls basketball and baseball teams.
Upon graduation, John enlisted in the Army and made the ultimate sacrifice for his country in Vietnam.
John is remembered by his coaches for his competitive nature, his enthusiasm for life, and his gregarius personality. "He was a student-athlete truly loved by all who knew him."
