Harford Community College Athletics

Named to the 1979 first team All-American softball squad leading the Owls to a national tournament appearance. Also named to the 1979 All-Tournament Team batting .400 from her catchers position. A versatile athlete, Shirley also played field hockey and basketball for the Owls. 

A graduate of Bel Air High School, she transferred to the University of South Carolina on a softball scholorship. Upon graduation, Shirley returned to Harford County and is employed with PHH Group.
