Harford Athletics Hall of Fame
Another three sport star for the Owls, Lizstarred in field hockey, basketball, and softball earning first team All-American honors as a right inner in field hockey in1976. She scored a school record 26 goals that season.
She earned the nickname "Diamond Liz" for her softball talents leading the team in hitting with seven home runs and a .592 batting average as a sophmore. In basketball, she was the team's leading scorer and third leading rebounder while being named to the All-State JUCO team.
Her spirit, dedication, and playing ability were honored by the County Executive in 1977 with the declaration of an "Elizabeth Panos Day".
