Harford Athletics Hall of Fame
A standout two-way performer in football playing both fullback and linebacker, Ed led the 1966 team in rushing and scoring. He was also named to the first team Tri-State All Conference team as a fullback.
Ed transferred to Tulane University on a football scholorship where he excelled as an offensive lineman. He returned to Harford County upon graduation, teaching and coaching at Bel Air High School. In 1977 he returned to HCC as the football team's offensive lineman coach.Â
Ed's coaches described him as a "giver." "He was a tireless worker, an outstanding coach, and devoted himself to the welfare of others."
