Harford Athletics Hall of Fame
Jack Nichols served as Athletic Director at Harford Community College from 1964-70 and 1992-97. He served as the Head Basketball Coach from 1964-72; Head Golf Coach 1965-78; Head Football Coach from 1965-85; and Head Women'sTennis Coach from 1979-86. He was the 1978 Region XX Golf Coach of the Year. Jack served as Chairman of several Region XX committees and was active in the Maryland JUCO Conference during his years as Athletic Director. He also served as President of the Maryland Association of Community and Junior Colleges. Jack was also instrumental in expanding the physical education facilities and programs and introducing women's sports.
