Harford Athletics Hall of Fame
Ed was a standout linebacker at Harford Community College in 1975 and 1976. His achievements while playing at HCC include All-JUCO and All-Region XX honors, as well as being named an NJCAA All-American in '76.
He was recruited by Wake Forest University, where he was a two year starter for the Deamon Decons, leading the team in tackles and assist his senior year. After graduating from Wake Forest, Ed played two seasons of semi-pro football with the Pittsburgh Wolf Pack.
Remembered by his coaches for his intensity, Ed was a dominating defensive player, and is considered one of the truly great linebackers to play at HCC.
