Harford Athletics Hall of Fame
As a freshman Mike started at defensive tackle for the Owls, moving to offensive center in his sophmore year. He was named to All-Region XX and All-Coastal Conference teams, in addition to being selected as a First Team NJCAA-All American, while excelling in academics obtaining a 3.9 GPA.
At the University of Pittsburgh, Mike was an outstanding offensive guard, playing in the Cotton Bowl and the Fiesta Bowl. He played briefly for the Kansas City Chiefs in the NFL.
Mike is remembered by his coaches for his intense work ethic, dedication in excellence and leadership abilities.
